In this Video we will discuss one of the biggest weapons of the Spanish and Portuguese conquest of America. That was their War Dogs, the military functions of dogs began to dominate Spanish thinking, with some dogs becoming superstars, their fame spreading among both Spanish and Indigenous people and into history. As the conquest advanced, their aggression was institutionalized as instruments of punishment and execution by Cortés, the Pizarros, de Soto, Coronado, and others. Becerrillo sired Leonçico, and bloodlines of the best fighters and most aggressive executioners became valuable.

We will also discuss some store of American Indian Slavery, in particular Caribbean chiefs being sent to Seville, Spain into slavery.
