How To Find Your CUSIP In 8 Simple Steps

Step 1:
Go to Fidelity.Com www.Fidelity.com and log in
If you have an account, please use your Username and Password to login.
If you DON’T have an account, create a free account and login once they provide you
with a Username and Password

Step 2:
Go to the "quotes" tab
(if you're not sure where that tab is located, please use the link to download my step-by-step PDF visusal instructions)


Step 3:
Okay, the screen shown below is where you will put in your birth certificate number.



Step 4:
After you hit the “Quote” button AND if your birth certificate numbers are entered correctly for Fidelity’s system, then you will end up at the next screen

Step 5: Write down the "symbol" and then click the "find symbol" button



Step 6: You'll arrive at a new screen where you will find two drop down options and a search box:
In drop-down 1: select "Mutual Fund"
In drop-down 2: select "Trading Symbol"
In the search box put in the symbol you wrote down on step 5



Step 7: You'll seed your CUSIP number on the right side



Step 8:In the next screen you'll find your NAV number.
Many say the NAV is the value of the CUSIP in millions of dollars
