We will be reading from the book: Linking The Histories of Slavery, North America and Its Borderlands”, - Chapter 2
Indian Slavers and traders provided massive amounts of slaves for European colonist.
The impact of Guns and disease brought by Europeans made the situation a lot worst.
Vulnerable Tribes fell victim to frequent slave raids by other indigenous groups.
So massive was this system that it changed the way of life of all American Indian nations .
Many of these enslaved Indigenous People were sent to local and Caribbean plantations and were misclassified as “negros” and “africans” in history.
