In this video we will do a review of some of the history of the sephardic and Muslim moors that were kicked out of Spain and Portugal.
Focusing on their forced relocation to the canaries, Azores, Madeira's, The Caribbean, Central America and the south West US.
Many converted to christianity by force , and many as a cover to survive in those times with their ruling empire (the Catholics). They became known as Conversos, New Christians, Marranos, Moriscos, Cryptos, etc ...
In general these original sephardic and moorish people were of a dark complexion another significant important point that gets white washed when told to us in schools and universities.
We will discuss much of the history, Genealogy, and specific Surnames associated with muslims and sephardic in colonial America.
