Did you know Sephardic jew orphans and prisoners of war were transported to Cape Verde and São Tomé as slaves?
Did you know Cape Verde was a refuse place for many Sephardic jews and Moors fleeing the Inquisition?

Whaling was a big part of Both American Indian and Cape Verdean History. The first whalers were American Indians who taught the europeans how to hunt whales. American Indians dominated the whaling industry in its early years , but eventually it dominated by “Cape Verdeans”.
Is this some random switch or are these people connected?
From the Americas To the Cape Verde Islands, there is a special history and connection with its peoples …
